LED TECHNOLOGY
The cutting-edge LED light features 8 high-power 12.5W RGBW LEDs, divided into two independaltly controllable rows. With 2000K-10000K colour temperature control and 16bit dimming, this light offers unparalleled colour accuracy and customization. The powerful shutter and advanced colour calibration make it easy to match the colours of other fixtures in the P, Q, and I series. With an expected lifetime of 50,000 hours, this light is a durable and long-lasting choice for any lighting setup.

BATTERY & WIRED OPERATION
The P-1 wash light is the ultimate in versatility and convenience. As a 100% wireless light, it offers endless possibilities for setups, making it perfect for any event or installation. But that’s not all – the P-1 can also be used with or without batteries, and even when wired, it only requires 70W of power. And if you do choose to use the battery, it has a configurable capacity of up to 24 hours and can be recharged to 75% in just 3.5 hours. Plus, you can easily monitor the battery status remotely using RDM or the built-in OLED display.

MAGNETIC HOLOGRAPHIC FILTERS
Introducing the P-1, a powerful and versatile wash light designed for the stage and studio. With its ability to be used as a native 10º wash light or as a flexible luminaire with an optional low-loss holographic filter. The magnetic set of spread angle filters allows for a seamless medium spread of 19º, a powerful wide diffusion at 45º, and a versatile elliptical effect in horizontal (63º/12º) or vertical (12º/63º). And with the option to use custom colour filters or diffusers, the P-1 is the ultimate in flexibility.

Designed specifically for the stage and studio, the P-1 features silent running and passive cooling, making it a powerful and low-noise option for any setting. The rubber feet on the base allow it to be placed on delicate floor surfaces without causing damage, and optional easy-fit 4-way or 8-way barn doors can be added to eliminate any unwanted light bleed in the theatre or studio. With all these features, the P-1 is the perfect lighting solution for any stage or studio setting.

PIXEL MAPPING
Included in the P-1 are the two independently controllable LED segments. Using DMX, you can control the red, green, blue and white LEDs for each row in 8bit and 16bit modes.

IP RATING
The P-1 luminaire is designed to withstand even the toughest conditions. With a durable IP65 rating, it is protected against external particles and liquids, making it ideal for outdoor events and installations. This protection ensures that the internal optics and light sources remain free from contaminants such as smoke fluid, dust, dirt, and humidity, making the P-1 virtually maintenance-free. DEHUMIDIFICATION
The inbuilt patented dehumidification removes humidity and prevents oxidation and condensation, while a gore-tex membrane prevents leaks by balancing internal pressure. This also protects the light from moisture, pollution and other corroding factors.

THERMAL MANAGEMENT
The P-1 luminaire is designed to ensure optimal performance of its LEDs at all times, thanks to its unique thermal management technology from SGM. The specially designed body and heat sink work together to provide optimal cooling for the LED chips, while the use of a special aluminium alloy and surface treatment ensures maximum heat dispersion. With fan-assisted cooling, the P-1 can perform at its best in any conditions, including variable temperatures and limited airflow.

And like all SGM LED products, the P-1 has been rigorously tested under extreme hot and cold conditions to ensure that the LEDs always operate within safe parameters.

MOUNTING OPTIONS
The P-1 is the ultimate in flexibility and convenience. This light can be used in wired mode, and the battery pack can be added later as needed. The P-1 is designed to be versatile, with the ability to mount on the ceiling, in a rig, or on a wall, and with one omega bracket with two 1/4 turn locking points included. The P-1 can be customized to suit your needs even further with optional barn doors and magnetic filters. Additionally, it is Kensington lock compatible.

THERMALDRIVE TM
Introducing the P-1’s advanced thermal management technology, designed to ensure maximum reliability and optimal performance for long-term use. Temperature control is monitored via sensors and software to keep LED junction temperatures at optimal levels. SGM’s predictive colour mixing algorithm compensates for the decay levels of colour-based LEDs for superior colour rendering. The ThermalDriveTM system includes cutting-edge heat removal through a combination of passive thermal techniques and active forced-air cooling, specifically designed to maintain LED efficiency and extend the fixture’s lifetime. With this advanced technology, the P-1 is the perfect lighting solution for any event or installation.

TRUCOLOUR TM
SGM is dedicated to providing the best lighting experience for its customers, and this is evident in the company’s commitment to full-range calibration for all of its LED fixtures. Using CIE space and black body curve measurements are taken via spectrometer and SGM Illumination Lab software, SGM ensures that all of its products are consistent and have a long lifespan. Inbuilt sensors monitor the product’s performance and allow for colour temperature re-calibration to compensate for colour shifting. SGM’s Color Match procedure ensures accurate wavelength reproduction within the product range via coloured LEDs, dichroic filters, or CMY mixing (depending on the product) all specified to match the SGM colour palette, guaranteeing an unparalleled user experience.
