SGM G-Profile Turbo
The unit’s humidity can be read from the info menu. When prepping these units before a job, the humidity of the fixture should be checked. It should be around or below 50% in the head and base. If for any reason you find them to be a lot higher then contact SGM as high humidity can cause condensation to form inside the LED module which can short the LEDs out.
A simple way to lower the humidity is to open the gobo hatch then power on the unit for 20-30 mins then reseal the hatch. This will burn any excess humidity away. Be careful you don’t mix the screws up between the gobo hatch and the plastic shell as they are different and can stop the gobo hatch from closing properly. We have seen this now a few times and this is the main cause of condensation in the unit forming as the hatch isn’t fully closed.

The G-Profile Turbo features a robust Red – Lime – Blue LED engine that enhances brightness and light quality. With the Green Color Mode, the LED moving head can create bright and soft colours and well-known SGM RGB mixing. With an expected LED lifetime of 50,000 hours, this LED luminaire is reliable and durable.
With the new RLB additive mixing, the G-Profile Turbo is the brightest and most advanced LED moving head in its class with framing capabilities. The LED moving head can output high-CRI whites while maintaining a colour temperature control range of 2000K to 10000K.
The G-Profile Turbo has an extended colour palette compared to the standard G-Profile due to the use of Lime LEDs instead of Green LEDs. This results in warmer colours, rich yellows, and a wider range of green shades. With special dichroic technology, the G-Profile Turbo can also create deep saturated greens and even more contrasted colours.
The G-Profile Turbo is equipped with a zoom range of 8° to 43°, and a pseudo zoom down to 1°, making it suitable for any stage or event. The internal optics are water, dirt, and sand-proof, ensuring maximum brightness output at all times. In case of dirt or debris, the front lens can easily be wiped clean, saving time and maintenance costs.
The G-Profile Turbo has a durable IP65 rating, which protects the LED moving head from external particles and liquids, such as smoke fluid, dust, dirt, airborne pollution, and humidity. This eliminates the need for cleaning optics or gobos and ensures long-lasting performance. The LED moving head is ideal for outdoor applications and sustainable for indoor events and installations.
The internal built-in dehumidifier protects the G-Profile Turbo from moisture, pollution, and other factors that could cause corrosion. The patented SGM dehumidification technology not only removes humidity but also prevents oxidation and condensation, ensuring long-lasting performance.

Accurate Framing System:
The G-Profile Turbo has an advanced and adjustable framing system with four individually controllable blades that can be adjusted +/- 30º and a module rotatable through +/- 45º rotation. This enables beam-shaping images and projections for any event.
The G-Profile Turbo has been optimized for thermal management to ensure optimal LED performance at all times. The unique thermal management technology consists of a specially designed body and heat sink, as well as a special aluminium alloy and surface treatment for maximum heat dispersion. SGM’s Proprietary Technologies
The ThermalDriveTM technology provides advanced temperature control through sensors and software, ensuring optimal LED junction temperatures and maximum reliability for long-term use. This system features cutting-edge heat removal via passive thermal techniques and active forced-air cooling, specifically designed to maintain LED efficiency and extend the fixture’s lifetime.
SGM uses full range calibration for all LED fixtures, measured via spectrometer and SGM Illumination Lab software. The Color Match procedure ensures accurate wavelength reproduction and accurate colour matching within the SGM product range, using coloured LEDs, dichroic filters, or CMY mixing, depending on the product.
SGM’s patented Dehumidification process eliminates humidity and breaks down corrosive molecules in polluted air to prevent destructive corrosion. The inbuilt dehumidifiers continuously remove trapped hydrogen in a solid-state electrolytic process with no moving parts, and the DryTechTM process is based on an IP rating of 65 or 66, providing full protection against dust and other particles and against direct water jets.
